Guardian Equipment is the leading innovator of emergency eye wash and shower technology equipment. The company has a long history of providing high-quality products to the construction, scientific and manufacturing industries. Due to competitive pressures, Guardian called Paragraphs to analyze their marketing and brand identity.

Paragraphs conducted market research, competitive analysis and an internal assessment of the organization. The Guardian name is “overused” in a wide range of industries, meaning we needed to develop an incredibly distinctive and powerful brand identity.

Paragraphs created a new logo, corporate identity, brand and graphic standards. Color was key to differentiating Guardian from their competitors, both from a product and brand aspect.

The color palette was implemented into the manufacturing of the product line, giving them a fresh look, with a unique science and technology feel, driven across all customer touchpoints.

The new Guardian brand helped the company realize a 20% increase in YOY sales. The company built a new headquarters featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities. The identity was carried through the new headquarters strengthening the brand and updating the capabilities and products of a company that is over 100 years old. The identity and brand won numerous awards for their logo, brand and website.

The corporate website was designed to reflect the core brand attributes—clean, fresh, energetic, educational and friendly.
