Happy Holidays from Paragraphs!

Happy Holidays from Paragraphs!

“And he, he himself…the Grinch…carved the roast-beast.”

We all hold special memories in our hearts of the holidays. Whether it’s getting that gift you really wanted or seeing family you haven’t seen in years, this season is truly magical.

And the magic is amplified by every song and tale we share around this time. Have you noticed the one recurring theme in nearly every holiday tale and holiday song…?

Food!

🎶  Chestnuts roasting on an open fire… Jack Frost nipping at your nose… 🎶

🎶  Oh, bring us some figgy pudding, oh, bring us some figgy pudding… 🎶

🎶  Gather round the table, we’ll give you a treat / Dreidals to play with and latkes to eat… 🎶

🎶  Love and joy come to you, and to you our wassail, too… 🎶

When it comes to celebrating the holidays, most of us have a favorite dish (or two, or three) that we only get to enjoy at this time of year. And each time we inhale the delectable aromas, our hearts flutter, and warmth and love—and hunger!—envelope us like a blank of powdered snow.

This year, we wanted to share recipes near and dear to us: Some are especially for the holidays while others are favorites all year round.
