The Situation

Videojet (a Danaher Corporation subsidiary) is a global leader in applied ink jet and labeling technologies. Their products are featured in assembly for nearly every product in every industry. Videojet wanted to create their first-ever sustainability campaign and enlisted Paragraphs to help envision, create and rollout said campaign for worldwide internal distribution.

Paragraphs’ Strategy

With increasing pressure on companies in the manufacturing supply chain to demonstrate their social responsibility and sustainable business practices, Videojet felt it important to develop messages and materials on Corporate Social Responsibility that were aspirational and well-grounded. Although safety was (and remains) their top priority, and while they already had a robust recycling program in place, Videojet was still determining its sustainability KPIs; thus, materials could not overstate or over-promise on achievements and near-term commitments.

To tell Videojet’s story in a clear, compelling way, Paragraphs developed a concept that utilized different voices—and languages—from various Videojet enterprises around the globe.

Final Results

Launched at the annual gathering of global business division leaders, the Videojet Sustainability Program was met with widespread acclaim. All associated materials were translated into 18 languages for deployment in Videojet’s various locations.
